Re: Cancellations?
At least one local school (and I'm assuming more) is requiring that masks be worn in school and on busses, and as long as the masks are being worn, close contacts are not being quarantined. So unless many members of the team become too sick to compete at the same time, there should be no shut-down/c...

Re: Pitts Defense
There is no way to defend this Pitt loss. Horrible. The said thing about the program is that no Pitt fan is surprised.

Re: Richland at Bedford
Good football game. So few games are competitive anymore. Bedford looked bigger, stronger, faster. Richlands passing game has surprisingly struggled the last few weeks and injuries are becoming an issue. Thought the 'white-hats' calls were a little one-sided, but the back-judge evened it out with a ...

Re: Richland at Bedford
Richland isn't overly deep (no surprise for an AA school) and has had some injuries that has affected that depth. Take Bedford in a close one at home, with their depth, line experience, and, oh yeah, they have a lot of talent too.

Re: Can anyone explain Johnstown?
So many things to mention. Lack of youth program, transient student body/population, coaching short-comings, kids not wanting to play on a bad team, lack of discipline, the administration running-off good coaches in the past, lack of parental support, eliminating phony jobs for coaches, etc.... Thin...

Re: 2021 College Football Thread
Of course we will have to see how everything plays out. If there are 2 'worthy' SEC teams, ESPN will want them both and then someone will be left out.
No chance the Big 10 ever gets 2 teams in.

Re: 2021 College Football Thread
Two thoughts. Pre-season rankings are meaningless. If Clemson goes 12-1, it won't really matter that the ACC went 0-4 in week 1.

Re: Bishop Carroll cancels football
In the Football special today, Penna seemed to suggest that it was up to D5 as to whether they can compete for a district title this year.
