Re: Fall Sports
I would imagine for many states right now the reclosing of businesses will be in july and august, since cases are rising fast now. All this hate for Wolf yet PA was one of the most successful at dealing with Covid-19..... Question if your kid gets an A on a test after studying heavily for it do you...

Re: Johnstown Football
I heard they were at Highland Park this weekend. Still think it could have been them at Roxbury, since I doubt Johnstown High would have helmets issued already.Crimson's Ghost wrote: ↑June 15th, 2020, 7:19 pmThat team practices in Seward.Colonel Mustard wrote: ↑June 15th, 2020, 4:42 pm Are you sure this wasn't that 8-man, beer league football team that we have been hearing about?

Not a hockey expert, but between all of the youth leagues, high schools, travel teams, clubs, college teams, junior teams, pros, etc.. aren't most ice surfaces used all day? I would think rinks are equipped to handle high-volume usage.

Re: Fall Sports
If they can't play summer baseball, they'll never let them play football. Dream scenario: July-August summer baseball, start football practice after Labor Day, games end of Sept. Get 8 games in by Thanksgiving and call it a season. Nightmare scenario: We have our second 'Covid death' and the Gov mov...

Re: Fall Sports
Amazing to me that they are making these types of decisions in mid-May.
Good point about the local schools with low roster numbers for football. This just might be the end for those schools.

Re: Fall Sports
If we have to be in the green phase to have sports, forget it. No way that anyone is green any time soon. Our governor is playing politics. First it was 'flatten the curve', then it was not enough ventilators, then it was 'we need to test every American everyday', now it's 'this could flare up in th...

Re: Steelers Draft
That's funny, because when the Steelers were picking at 49, Claypool wasn't in Mel's top 10 available. I remember thinking that I would be happy with any of the top 5 guys he had listed.
I hope he turns-out to be a stud.
