If the regular season ends 10/16, Central Cambria won't have to play Bedford, Richland, or Chestnut Ridge. That will certainly help their playoff chances.

Which is why I say pass on state playoffs, play-out the regular season and districts and call it a season. But since every coach thinks his team can win states it will never happen. I don't get the appeal of playing some random team from Central PA or Erie, when you could finish out the season again...

I think D6 should pass on the state playoffs. Finish out conference schedules and districts and call it a season.

I agree that the JV game is Monday, and there should be no pressure for the varsity coach to get those guys into the varsity game. There are a lot of theories for why Johnstown may be struggling overall, but for going for it on 4th and 17 in their own end....I can only think that they have no faith in their punting or long-snapping???

As mentioned above LHAC has games scheduled through 11/13-14. It would be a shame and mistake in my opinion if the regular season or district playoffs were altered to accommodate state play-offs.
