I have heard that a varsity team had to forfeit some games that they played. Too many versions as to why. With all of the different stories, probably false information.

Can anyone put some weight to or put to rest the rumor that a local baseball team has forfeited some games from their early season schedule? If true, is anyone aware of the reason that this had to be done?

After a week of baseball in the month of March, many of the teams got 2 games in. Conemaugh Township, Rockwood, North Star and Blacklick Valley are the teams that are 2-0 after two games played. Meyersdale and Salisbury are both sitting at 1-0 while all other teams have at least one loss on the boar...

Looks good for baseball to be played the last week of March. Games scheduled at least through Thursday should be played this week. Never would have seen that coming with the wet summer, fall and winter that we had. Best of luck to all of the teams as they get their seasons underway.
