I have heard that a varsity team had to forfeit some games that they played. Too many versions as to why. With all of the different stories, probably false information.

Can anyone put some weight to or put to rest the rumor that a local baseball team has forfeited some games from their early season schedule? If true, is anyone aware of the reason that this had to be done?

Looks good for baseball to be played the last week of March. Games scheduled at least through Thursday should be played this week. Never would have seen that coming with the wet summer, fall and winter that we had. Best of luck to all of the teams as they get their seasons underway.

There were 723 boys basketball teams this year in the PIAA. 579 Public (boundary) members - 80% of the membership. 144 Private/Parochial/Charter (non-boundary) members - 20% of the membership. 5 State Champions are the later and 1 State Champion from the form...
