Re: More important than football!!!!
What happened blueandwhitefan? Shooting outside the school. Possibly 3 shooters with 3 students shot. All are in good condition. Shooters ran into the woods. The 3 that were shot WILL NOT COOPERATE with police so possible gang related. Swat teams surrounding a house right now. It is live on the Pit...

Re: Moral Questions
I think it is IMMORAL to deny kids competition by maintaining an inefficient, antiquated system of piss ant schools that do little to challenge kids academically or athletically, just so a few union teachers can maintain their jobs. it is totally IMMORAL to sacrifice a kids HS developemental years,...

Re: A rule change I don't understand...
Unsportsmanlike are non contact fouls. A touchdown could be awarded by rule in this instance, but that would be a tough one. A team continually causing penalties which half the distance to the goal can result in the officials awarding a touchdown. Unsportsmanlike can be contact or non-contact (alth...

Reading this thread helps explain that. Let's get the coach's story before we fire him. Agreed, but there i...

Re: Moral Questions
I did notice they were extremely dirty the first few weeks. A lot of late hits. After one kid was thrown out of a game they seemed to clean it up, tho several pushing matches broke out on the field throughout the season. They were definitely the dirties PL team I've seen After talking to the offici...

Re: Moral Questions
The fight that happened in Purchase Line's locker room between the senior and freshman was actually during the week before their last game. What happened was the freshman decleated the senior in practice, then after practice continued to tease him about it. The senior then lost his cool and hit him...

Re: Moral Questions
I'm not saying anything one way or another, because it sounds like several sources pointing in the same direction. I'd like to see the coach in question at least "called on it" to hear an explanation(if he can give one)... Because if its the way described, he's a huge terd that should be ...

Re: Moral Questions
Both instances are disgraceful acts by coaches who should not be coaching student/athletes, nor pumping my gas. The first example could be reported to the police, the second to the PIAA. I agree but what would the backlash be to the students involved. They still have to attend school. I agree with ...
