Re: Pat Chambers
Yes, I did read what you said, including: The mindset of the Nit fans is strictly football. I'd say that is generalizing PSU fans. The basketball team is struggling with their identity because basketball takes a back seat to football? That's funny. I thought it was because of their lack of depth. It...

Re: Pat Chambers
Heck, I even forgot that men's hockey sells out every game at Pegula. Football-only indeed.

Re: Pat Chambers
Moldo, you just generalized every PSU fan by what you saw (or didn't see) on BWI? Really? All that from a website/magazine? I've lived in Centre county for 20 years and I can tell you first hand that folks around here are not just football fans. If you cared to look, you'd see that the men's basketb...

Re: Scores week of jan27
BEA and PV get back on track while State College drops another. You'd think with 600+ class sizes that they would be able to win more than 1 game… It's entirely possible that every D6 AAAA team will have a losing record at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see how many enter the D6 to...

Coaching position open
Just heard through the grapevine that Saint Joseph's is looking for a head baseball coach for this spring (which would be their first season). Seems a little late to be looking to me.

State College 62
Season-leading scorer Michael Beattie paced the team with 25 points and remains the lone bright spot on the now 1-17 Little Lions.

Re: Home Freaking Run
Sorry Moldo, as a Centre County resident for these past 20 years and PSU employee, I can tell you first hand that the vast majority of the folks around here wish O'Brien nothing but success at Houston. He made it very clear from the beginning that he regarded a head coaching position in the NFL as h...

Re: Scores for week of Jan 20th
If memory serves, JV went to Hershey in back to back years; losing big the first time and winning big the second. I can't recall any other boys D6 A state champs. Heck the last D6 boys team to make to Hershey was Johnstown 8 or 9 years ago. Of course the girls are a totally different story. The D6 A...
