Re: HERITAGE WEEK 3
Are they enjoying Beating up on St Joes and their 15 man roster? Not the Comets fault that St. Joe's starting QB was out with an injury and that their o/D line is very small for a varsity squad. I expect it will be much the same this week once PL gets the ground game going. I question if they will ...

Re: top underclassmen in the area
Are you telling me that administrators at parochial schools don't realize when a real good athlete is transferring to their school just for his senior year FOR ATHLETIC REASONS???? Are they stupid or naïve? This is where kids should have to sit out a year after transferring. Then there would be NO ...

Re: top underclassmen in the area
Let's say your kids go to Ferndale. You look at a brand new school like Richland's and realize that they have a better library, a better chemistry lab, etc. If you feel strongly about those areas and wish your children could participate in them, then by all means, transfer to Richland. That transfe...

Re: PIAA playoffs
The Bald Eagle/Central Columbia game has been moved to 5:30 PM on Friday to accommodate another school's need to play earlier in the day due to graduation. I'd expect another overflow crowd. Go BEA!

Re: PIAA playoffs
Over 1,500 people turned out at PSU's Beard field to watch Bald Eagle defeat Philipsburg-Osceola yesterday 7-2 to advance to the AA Championship at 10:00 AM on Friday. I've been to Bellefonte football games with less of a crowd!

Re: Penguins Offseason
Aoki - great stuff (and I'm a long time Flyers fan)! As a Flyers fan, I am required to boo Crosby everytime he plays against Philly, but he is clearly the most talented all-around player in the NHL. All this angst about Crosby not producing in the playoffs is a bit off kilter. I watch almost every h...
