Re: The Future of Teams With Low Numbers
Cambria County has 193 churches for 120,000 people. Isn't about time we start consolidating??? : BINGO!!!!!! The correlation is astonishing between school districts and churches. For instance Bedford county (at my last count) has 27 Church of the Brethren's. 3 of them have an average attendance of ...

Re: Public/Private Enrollment
You could always just eliminate the playoffs altogether.
That way everyone can declare themselves the mythical champion of whatever classification fits his needs.
We are the best school with exactly 148 boys who wears red white and orange, for example.

Re: District 5A Playoffs
D6 should only take four teams and the WPIAL eight.
If the PIAA operated in the best interest of the student athletes, football season would be over by Thanksgiving

Re: Bishop Guilfoyle at Somerset Official Game Thread
BG certainly should not be ripped for winning the LHAC. That is the appropriate league for them to play in. The district playoffs, of course, is a totally different story, however, it must be pointed out that only two schools like them have won a state title dating back 25 years.

Re: District 5A Playoffs
The PIAA should either redraw the districts or eliminate them. You can't choose where you are located, nor should you be able to choose which district you can play it, ie, flee the Bishops. Ridiculous suggestion in my opinion. As is, the D5 playoffs should be 1 vs 2 and last one week.

Windber is 5-5 and will play in the District 5 playoffs. They won just one game against a district 5 school.

Re: Bishop Guilfoyle at Somerset Official Game Thread
Wilmington used to win in AAA despite being just seven to ten boys above being an A school. Yes, they played up.
I believe Central Cambria used to do the same thing. They would go 5-5 and still be able to win in AAA.

Township only beat North Star once. They beat Windber in week one.
