Re: Baseball Second Round
Good luck to all the remaining D5/6 teams! How sweet would a BM/JV rematch be for the state finals? Central and Bedford could possibly meet in the western final as well.

Re: LA Kings vs. CHI Blackhawks
The Kings and Hawks are easily the two deepest teams in the league and are reaping the benefits of good drafting, development and timely trade/free agent signings. If Crawford were a better goalie, the Hawks could take the last two, but I can't see Quick losing three straight. I don't think any of t...

Re: Penguins Offseason
Concentrating on improving the D and bottom 6 should be the first priority. Callahan should would good on Crosby's right wing, but you have to remember that Sather leaked that Callahan's agent was asking for $6 million per year for 7 years. I respect the heck out of Callahan and think he is a great ...

Re: #Pens vs #Rangers - Round 2 #StanleyCupPlayoffs
I can't see how Bylsma survives this one. The Pens have way too much talent to keep bowing out of the playoffs early. I wouldn't be surprised to see them discard MLF for either Ryan Miller or Jonas Hiller. Dumping Scuderi and Orpik would also serve them well.

as did Jim Bradley (all-state in football in 1970) and Patty Bradley who is one of the best all-time female athletes in Cambria County. She is still the all-time leading scorer in girls basketball at McCort and won back-to-back gold medals in track and field, parlaying that into a hall of fame caree...

Re: Blue-White GameDay Thread
I was there and the weather was perfect for spring football. Only one injury that I saw. Hackenburg looked sharp for April, but the other QBs seemed to struggle. Fickens missed another PAT!!! Franklin observed most plays from about 20 yards behind the QB and took the opportunity to coach up the occa...

so when the privates get as riled up as the publics, then the PIAA decides something must be done. SMH http://www.wjactv.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/piaa-plan-would-limit-athletics-at-charter-schools-2139.shtml Please provide an example of the "privates" getting riled up. I have...

Re: Breaking news on Charter School athletics
Apparently the athletics program at Lincoln Park consists of one boys basketball team. They also offer volleyball and golf: http://www.lppacs.org/about/athletics.php . Not much of a selection considering their size (AA in the next cycle). Their boys enrollment is on par with Berlin, Blairsville and...
