Re: Bishop Carroll vs. Monessen
Had they broken rules, wouldn't there be sanctions, restrictions, actual press clippings of suspicions? I just haven't seen any of that regarding this Bishop Carroll basketball team. PIAA does not enforce the rules they have and they don’t look for conflict. If local administrators at public school...

Re: Playoff Scores
Anyone ever heard of Phila. Roman Catholic? A powerhouse, back in the 60's & 70's. They played in their own league, and played the Public league champ every year. It DID happen back then. It's only been maybe the past 15 yrs. or so, they began playing w/ publics. As Archie Bunker sang, "Th...

Re: Playoff Scores
You aren't getting my point. They need to divide public and private. Just like it was in the 70's. This isn't new. They used to have private and public classes. No reason not to go back to it. I'll be the first to admit that my memory isn't always the greatest, but I can't remember a time in the 70...

Re: Playoff Scores
The religion card is ridiculous. It has nothing to do with religion. If you are private whether you are Catholic , Christian, ,reform or charter. You have no business in a public school playoff system. USAF, it's not a "public school playoff system". It is the playoffs for all PIAA member...

Re: Playoff Scores
I guess what I'm having trouble understanding is how can you miss what you never had? If the kid never attended public school, what's the problem?
Lobby your state representatives if you want change. Whining on a message board accomplishes nothing.

Just curious as to why that even matters considering all of them attended Catholic schools their entire lives. Mom and dad made that decision long ago.Hornet2424 wrote:I am from JV. Hats off to BC last night. They are a good team. Just curious as to where the 7-man rotation from BC live?

Re: Pat Chambers
Just came off BWI. You know, they don't even have PSU's basketball schedule posted. But the STILL have last years football schedule and results on the front page of their website, 3 months after the Nits season was over. Maybe my assertion that PSU fans have a football mindset is not that far off. ...
