Re: Muddy conditions
That BM/FH game in '96 was a real mudfest. The infield at the Point was still dirt, which quickly turned into a quagmire. Every tackle looked like the players were diving into a pool. FH went up 14-0 before Danel got hurt. The final was FH 14 - BM 13.

Re: District 6 Finals Tickets Baseball / Softball
You don't actually pick up your ticket but show it on your phone? What's the difference? For various reasons you STILL may not get to use it if purchased in advance. If you BUY your ticket at the gate, you're there!!! Even if you croak after entering the venue, you're there!!!! You got in. Didn't wa...

Re: District 6 Finals Tickets Baseball / Softball
You are MORE likely to die WHILE WALKING (exerting energy) to the gate from your car to pick up your ticket (already purchased), than standing at the gate casually waiting to purchase your ticket.

Re: District 6 Finals Tickets Baseball / Softball
So what if you drive to the parking lot the day of the game. Then buy your ticket with your phone. Then, as you walk to the stadium to GET your ticket, you collapse and die before you pick up your ticket. Your family is then out the cost of the ticket which you never used. At least if you buy the ti...

Re: District 6 Finals Tickets Baseball / Softball
A lot of people may not want to BUY tickets in advance online, for various reasons, and would like to wait until the day of the game to decide if they want to attend. If it's drizzling, and you got your ticket already, and the game is still on, good luck.

No coach has had a winning record since Bruce Parkhill. And that was barely over .500

Maybe I'm not hard to please. I can't help their situation. I'm just a fan. Better luck next year.

Re: Pitt Basketball
You can interpret stats and results any way you want. The proof is in the pudding. Pitt did the best they could this year. For every St.Francis type of loss, there is a win against a Va Tech. Honestly, when Pitt released their schedule in the fall, I was HOPING they could play .500 ball. They almost...

Re: Pitt Basketball
With men's college basketball regular season over, I wasn't disappointed with the Panthers too much. What can you say? They had NO starting seniors this year. Losses by one point to WF and NCST didn't help. Neither did the opening season loss to St. Francis. Capel's three seasons were 14-19, 15-16 a...
