Re: 2018 Pony League baseball
PONY has decided to follow LL in its age determination guidelines starting with the 2018 season. This all but ends High School freshman from playing with true 13/14 year olds, which I think is a wise move. I do think that this rule should have either been grand-fathered in or implemented at an earli...

Tentative forecast has a chance of rain, but very mild, definitely won't be cold.

Re: Pitt Stripe Out
Beating Iowa helps Penn State much more than beating Pitt. Also agree that Penn State playing Pitt helps out Pitt MUCH more than Penn State. Penn State gets 100,000 + for Georgia State, but Pitt can only sell out Penn State & ND games.

Re: 2010 Pony League Players

Re: 2010 Pony League Players
I couldn't agree with you more. Unfortunately a lot of these kids are playing down with kids they SHOULD dominate. That's why I think the LL age guidelines make so much sense. Hopefully the PONY organization agrees!!

2018 Pony League baseball
Big news on the city PONY league. The Boilers dynasty is over. They have informed their current players that they are NOT going to field a team in PONY next year. There will be a new league champ next year. I am sure there are many factors as to why they are quitting the league, but it was one h...

2010 Pony League Players
The Boilers ALWAYS go after the BEST pitchers in the area and usually the biggest kids in the 13/14 age bracket. This is why they always dominate in PONY baseball, at least locally. The 4 playoff teams this year could all hit, but nobody could match the Boilers pitching and of course they won agai...
