Re: Week 5 scores

He was hurt very early on , the kid starts both ways and handles punting and xp duty with recent injuries Way too much for a freshman. Bailey has him for 3 more years, should just let him play qb and get comfortable, no doubt the potential is there to be a great one , but he is one overwhelmed 14 y...

Re: Week 1 Scores

Final BG 38 Rich 14 Brief, general team observations: BG - not quite as good as they were last year, but still a very good team. They'll be in the top 3 of LHAC, w/ Bedford and Somerset. Rich - about the same as last year. They'll be in the middle of the LHAC pack, and might even make AA playoffs.

Final FH 26, BM 14
FH Freshman QB played well.
McCort is better than last 2 years.
Story of this game: FH Rushing attack. Long, time-consuming drives. Possessed the ball like 32 of the 48 min.

Re: Girls in WPIAL

The Libs on this site will call me a sexist, or male chauvinist, after they read my post. That is not the case. I am however a Conservative. About 10 years ago a girl came out for 7th Grade football when one of my sons started playing football. She was also a friend of my son. He asked me what I tho...

Re: Can anyone challenge Central for the title in AA this ye

They lose too much. They will be above .500 and make it into the playoffs but advancing past the semifinals can not be a realistic goal for them no one understands how important losing blough, Donoughe, and 4 starting lineman are regardless of who comes back 2 points, just food for thought: 1) In 2...

Re: Can anyone challenge Central for the title in AA this ye

I'm a Tyrone fan I bleed Black and Orange . That being said if there is one team no matter what the year and I kno some have said they don't have the kids this year. But Forest Hills is a team that always has me nervous until we have them beat . If they make the playoffs Papa Don always gets his ki...

Re: Bishop Caroll

Would this be happening if Charlie Koren and Chuck Sponsky were still involved in the program?????? I think not...... I can't answer that question directly, but I will describe an occurrence at said practice field, and you can draw your own conclusions. About 5 years ago, Mr. Sponsky ( I call him t...

Re: Bishop Caroll

Philipsburg made it through the season last year with 22 roster spots. Now they were 0-10 but they did show up each week. I believe BC only had 24-25 on their roster last year, and 12 of those were Seniors. So, that means 12-13 Returnees + upcoming Freshman + 2015 Recruiting Class....I mean Transfe...
