And if they acquire Hanson they still won't have a SS. LolCrimson's Ghost wrote:I read the Bucs are puching Alen Hanson, Jacoby Jones, and Jose Tabata. Especially Hanson since they don't have a shortstop.

MLB Trade Deadline Thursday at Noon
I'm sorry I don't like the idea of a giving up a $5M first round pick for a 2 month rental. Although unless they have a position change in mind or trade one of their current OFs he really doesn't have a spot. Now if the return is Price who has another year on his contract then yes I'd deal him.

Awesome performance by Vanimal!!! I'm keeping him in the rotation and sending Locke or Volquez to the pen.

Re: 10 game road trip for the Pirates
Heredia is a lot more than a year or 2 away. Kingham and Glasnow are the two I'd keep an eye on. I'd like to see them add Ian Kennedy and still think they are capable of making a run but as mentioned above the everyday guys can't make mediocre pitchers look like Clayton Kershaw!

Re: 10 game road trip for the Pirates
Hey why don't we keep running Morel and Martinez out there?? Neither guy has any business even being on the big league roster. Might as well play Pedro vs lefties it's not like he would've held this offense back the last two nights! Also if you haven't noticed Josh Harrison has made his way back to ...

Re: Central girls
My $ is on Rob Mock who was an assistant last year and has been coaching girls at the elementary level for several years. Would be a good hire if he's interested.
