Do not forget Aaron Smith saving 4 points by stopping the colts on 3rd and goal in the second quarter. How about Bryant McFaddan and Heath Miller they did not look like rookies at all.

I agree with you 100% Ham on Brent Musberger. It does not matter who Ohio State plays he is always pulling for them. It pissed me off the last couple games of the year how he kept saying that ohio state should get the Big Ten's BCS spot if Penn State and Ohio State both finished 7-1 in the conferenc...

Lefteye, I am not saying the Steelers can not win or that is not a big enough advantage but if there is no rust on the Colts then the Steelers may struggle. If the Steelers play a perfect game they are better than the Colts perfect game. Steelers are my pick 23-21. They are playing better this year ...

College Gameday crew was previewing next years big games and they discussed Sept. 9th with:
PSU @ ND
OSU @ Texas
(I think it was)
Nebraska @ Michigan

They discussed having each Herbsteit at one game, Corso at another game, and Fowler at the 3rd game. So, all three games may have Gameday.

Posluszny will be there for '08 also because Paul's brother will be a senior in High School next year and is being heavily recruited as a DB and is leaning PSU's way.

As I think about next week's game I wonder what weekness the steelers can attack and I see none the only advantage i see we have is that the Colts have not played a meaningful game in 6 weeks.

I think what made the '87 matchup interesting is the battle between the old school and the new school. Miami had a lot of people who did not like to dress up for press conferences, like to celebrate a 3 yard catch, and liked to bring to show to the individual. Penn State on the other hand never cele...

Re: Penn State officially "America's team"
But the Pitt alumni and Miami alumni rooted for MIAMI, right? I'm sure both outnumber the PSU alumni. And if the rest of the country was even split 50-50, the edge goes to those rooting for Miami. Makes sense to me.
And Miami did not have thei...

You can not award to many because a team does well (Notre Dame, Georgia, USC) and gets a good team in a bowl and lose a hard fought game they will punish their conference unlike a team that gets a poor bowl and wins it.

If the ACC would not have a conference championship they probably would have finished 2nd but having VT lose and Flordia State get the BCS bid killed them.

How many points do you think I should award for a bowl win?
