West Pac Week 2
West Pac Week Two Predictions:
Week one unfolded much like I figured as well as probably the majority on everyone else.
Week two I fear will be a cut and dry week as well with the exception of possibly one game.
Conemaugh Valley ( 0-1) @ Shade(0-1)
Shade has a nice team this year and I look for them to have a good season. CV is improving however; they have not improved enough to run with Shade.
Prediction Shade 35-7
Meyersdale (1-0) @ Blacklick Valley (0-1)
Two teams heading in different directions. Question this week will be how many points will
The Red Raiders hang on Blacklick. Based on last week’s point total I would have to say Meyersdale will be pulling starters in second quarter.
Prediction Meyersdale 60-0
Windber (0-1) @ Ferndale
No words for this one
Prediction Windber 48-0
Portage (1-0) @ North Star (1-0)
Portage will keep rolling and the young cougars may get caught in a stampede. The cougars are a tough bunch but, in the end Portage is too deep.
Prediction Portage 49-14
Berlin (1-0) @ CT (1-0)
Both teams come in with tons of underclassman playing. CT is much improved from last year and this one will be the best game of the week in the West Pac. Each team features a talented runner. It seems Berlin has many more options and In the end I will say the mountaineers come out with a W.
Prediction Berlin 35-14
