My favorite quote from Coach Franklin-
"I think it's a little ridiculous that there's this - I don't know how I would describe it - but there's this major concern out there of, 'I'm going to do everything in my power to get my son or daughter a scholarship,'" Franklin said.
"So from the time he's in sixth grade he's been specializing and working with the trainer and going to every camp and every combine there ever was, and they've spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on it, where you could have used all that money to pay for his college. But they want to be able to say, 'My son's got a scholarship, blah, blah, blah.' Now it cost me $137,000 from fifth grade on to get it, so there's this ego, there's this status that comes along with that."
