Arnie's #1 course

Post by Manfred »

Any thoughts about the Indian Lake's private course, with  new owners opening the  Arnold Palmer course to the public?  I for one can't wait to try it.

I didn't realize that the Indian Lake course would be open to the public now. I have played this course a few times in the past and it is one of my favorites. Scenic course that weaves through wooded areas, narrow fairways and difficult greens. Course was never very busy when I played there when it was private, I'm sure that will change with being open to the public. I will certainly make it a point to get back there.

The local T-D paper had an article about it several days ago. I believe this is to take place by the end of April. It would be nice, if it worked with the Northwinds course as far as the rates go. Friends have been after me for a couple years now to join @ Northwinds, and while this is a great rate for golf, I might be more inclined to join there if they offered some kind of cross-over rates and/ or play.
