Once again shade, con. valley, westmont, ferndale, and n. cambria.... all get blown out! These school have to look at the coaching staffs! Year after year you can't have that bad of players!

I have to add Altoona's Palfey to that list . Losing is bad enough but when your getting beat bad by Hollidaysburg 41-20 and last year losing by 75 that doesn't sit well w/ Altoonas finest.

C'mon now...

It's not like these coaches are being paid millions to turn these programs into the nations elite.

Some of the teams you mentioned have coaches that have been in the program less than 3 years.
Some coaches have a style and philosophy that players need to grasp...Sometimes that takes time.

Also, I have tried to understand but it's hard to comprehend... Some schools just have..."higher moral" or a better attitude.

I had the privilege of attending and playing for a great high school that has had successful sport teams over the years.
I also had the privilege to be on a few coaching staffs in different sports at other area districts and it was crazy the things I saw. What is expected at some schools is inconceivable at others.
Kids would do things at one school that other kids wouldn't even think about doing at others.
At some of these schools...if you mentioned off season workouts you would get laughed out of the building...

Lets not put all the blame on the coaches. If you have a bucket of apples and are expected to make lemonade you are in for it.

My hat goes off to ALL the area coaches who put the time and effort into trying to better the lives of the young adults in our area.

I know Don Bo and FH calls both Offense and Defense
I think at Portage Gouse has an offense and Defensive Cord.
Also, I think Bussard at CC has the same...

With all the people on this site could we master a complete list of coaches who actually do something during the games... that could be interesting.

I believe that Sponsky calls the offense and his DC calls the defense at BC.
