Just a question, but other than Homer Center and Ligonier Valley , do you guys who follow the Heritage see any of their teams winning a playoff game? It just seems like a big drop from 1 and 2 to the rest of the field this year.

PL, NC, PM and United will all have a very good chance at winning a playoff game with the way the format is with 12 teams in the field. They could possibly play each other in the first round.

Yeah, by no means am I saying the other teams are great teams, but look at the other teams in playoff position in single A.  PL, Northern, United, and PM all have a legit chance to win a playoff game.  Look at last year's playoffs when some of the weaker Heritage playoff teams were able to win playoff games.

Hopefully - there will be a couple close games this week - but its hard to pick upsets this week.  Probably the most intriguing game of the week is the HC-WS game.  Homer's game versus LV this year was not like last year's game.  Last year's game was not competitive at all.  43-0 at halftime - starters out at halftime.  HC didn't slow LV down at all.  They gave LV a fight this year even though it was 35-6, starters played basically entire game.  They are a lot better than last year, IMO.  Their freshman QB (Schmidt) looks good.   If they would not have fumbled the ball three times in the first quarter - the game could have been closer.  WS seems to be getting in a groove now also, but they will have a hard time stopping HC's running game.
