Will there ever be a day???

Will there ever be a day when public and private schools will only play each other in the playoffs???  This recently has gotten bad in our area due to the fact that BG is now super successful during the regular season playing 3A and 4A schools and then playing single A schools in the playoffs and doing nothing but rolling the table.  Every year they steal the D6 championship away from a public school that is more than deserving.  This year it will be Homer Center or Portage again.  Bishop Mccort is now on the rise and it probably won't be long before Bishop Carroll is back on top.  It is not just in football it is in every sport.  Will PIAA ever make the decision to make these private schools play each other in the postseason?

They say they don't recruit, but when you have the ability to give away free tuition that's recruiting.  Kids that go to public schools can't choose to go to another for sports unless their family has an address in the distric.  Call it what you want but I call it recruiting and the PIAA is simply stealing from the kids of public schools.

This topic has been beat to death, let it go. If BG was AAA, you'd still be complaining.  Kids transer all the time, public to private, private to public an public to public. If you have a son and want him to have success, transfer to BG and pay the tuition.  I Believe BG has had only 4 kids transfer in over this 4 year run and none of those transfers were the stars that led them to 3 titles.  When they take a step back next year and don't win a title,  you will probably complain that it's not fair that Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and Philly schools win it every year.  Maybe PIAA, should go to 10 classifications, so everyone gets a participation trophy.

Westmont beat Bellwood with the double wing, all double wing teams should have to play each other in playoffs to keep it fair for non double wing teams.

Yea, it's a bunch of crap. We can't go jumping to anything just because a natural A team with homegrown talent has been able to obliterate the best conference around, which is full of AA, AAA, and AAAA teams, four years in a row. Only breaking a sweat a couple times. After slaying the LHAC, they'll have to march their way through the smaller schools to maybe win a 4th straight championship. I just don't see it happening. Their strength of schedule isn't strong enough

The same should be done for read option teams. Totally unfair to teams who line up in the Power-I and run FB Dive once every two plays.

That seems like a reach, I'm worried they'll even have a program in a few years.  I don't think life as an independent is going to be easy.

This argument will always fall on deaf ears when it is brought up after a loss in playoffs. You just sound like a butt hurt fan. If anything is going to change there needs to be year round pressure from a lot of people. But remember, where do most legislators send their kids??? Not public schools

Been hearing this ever since I went to school 25 years ago. Problem is I'm not sure who was getting this free tuition you speak of.
