I heard the same on Smith at Tussey. No clue about the Franco rumors. I heard they asked Smith back at MU, but he's headed back to Tyrone. Anyone know anything about CK? That seems like a good job to take, at least a nice team to inherit.

I know this a stretch, but I will give my opinion. I have watched the Junior High this year and they have some pretty big kids on the line and some talent in the back field. The sixth grade has decent size and a very good back also. I know they will have to work hard to get better, but at least there is some hope coming.

Matt Bilchak was named head coach at Claysburg last night. Good luck!

When were they last considered good?   And what does good mean?  .500 record, winning record, district championship?

For example, Tyrone every year is expected to be in running for district title.

One could assume he means a 3 win season. That's the best a small school could ever hope for.

I guess being competitive and not having opponents put “w” beside you on the schedule before you even play
