Awards time.

Post by EnzoLigoniere »

When will the all area and all state teams come out?
Already heard the rumors the Beitel is coach of the year in TD. And LV will have back to back players of the year with Jackson winning it this year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see both Hauck of Ridge and Daugherty share the title. If they would do that. If not, it could go either way. I would lean more towards Hauck, but not by much.

I wouldn't be afraid to throw Ferndale's Hunter Kinsey in there as well.

Why don't you throw Simanski in there too after he pummeled the Westpac teams..   funny how Kinsey and Simanski did against Heritage teams.  Not quite as impressive.
Hauck won't even beat out Cecere for first team qb, let alone be player of the year!

Well that's not very nice coming from one of the largest AA schools playing a small school schedule...
Cecere could be thrown in there as well. Hauck ran for over 1,000 yards as well with a higher completion percentage and higher passer rating.
So let's not be so mean.

Enzo, really.  Stirring the pot before Christmas.   Questioning level of competition is "pot calling kettle black" in your case

Kinsey threw for over 2000 yards, ran for over 600, and had 150 tackles...I’d say that’s pretty dang impressive

Why not throw Long from FH in there?

600 yds passing against Blacklick Valley in 2017?
Look at what Cecere did in his three playoff games over 800 yds passing meanwhile Kinsey 150 and under his games against Portage and Homer Center, maybe not Collin Smith, but Cecere > Kinsey.   Not saying that Kinsey is not a very good player.  Likely shoo in as defensive player of the year.   Just not best local qb this year.
