LHAC Football Schedule

Received the LHAC Football schedule for next year.   Interesting, the league is doing away with the sections it appears. Bishop McCort won't play Westmont at all this year, which I can't remember the last time the two teams didn't meet.

Chestnut Ridge's intro to the new league? A trip to Forest Hills week one.

Figured I'd pass along, long ways to go until football.  Just an interesting move that section play in the LHAC seems to be done.  And with Bishop Carroll remaining in the league for all other sports, I think it'll be done in all other sports.  The league is also going from 16 basketball games to 18 next season as a corresponding move.

What year did BM join the LHAC?  The year before would have been the last time they didn’t play Westmont.  Westmont has probably been playing Richland every year since the 50s or 60s or even longer.  I think Richland has also played Somerset every year since at least the 70s

I think BM entered the LHAC in fall of 1995. Rashaun Puryear was their QB. Lost to FH 35-21 that year.

I was able to track it down, It'll be the first year since 1993 the two teams haven't met.

CR's intro is Forest Hills week one and then Johnstown week two, should be fun.

I think I would rather see them keep traditional rivalries than to have a definitive champ, but I guess adding and dropping teams has thrown a wrench into things.

I had heard they were keeping sections for football but not the other sports. Interesting move

Fewer games for football, makes sense.
