BIG pickup

Post by IHeartFootball2 »

I just saw on Facebook that the Bithell kid from Tussy Mountain just “committed” to BG. What a big pickup for them. He’s supposedly 6’6” 280. Does anyone know what year he is or is he any good? He looks good in his new BG shirt.

I thought it was newsworthy for a local football message board. Don’t know how that’s troubling but ok.

I'm pretty sure he will be a junior this year. If this is true, this is the beginning of others looking to get out of a situation that school board created when they hired the guy they did with a questionable background.

How did BG work out for Sankey?
No district title in football,
No district title in track.
Minimal interest from colleges, certainly not Division 1 like the BG Twitter page announced.

BG Twitter page is the biggest joke going. They inflate everything to make it look better. Sizes, weights, accomplishments etc. Why would they need to anyway?? Very odd.
As far as the Tussey kid. Last season I was not impressed for his size but he was young. Hopefully for his sake he works hard and gets better. His size alone makes him a prospect but at this point probably not anything more than D3 in my opinion.

As a BG fan I hate to see it. Nothing against the particular player. He could be fine young man and a nice addition to the school.
What transfers do for the football program:
-obviously, add talented players to the roster
-invite ridicule from the private school haters
-most importantly, take a position from a player who's been in the program since birth and looking forward to his shot.

I think transfers should have to sit a year.

BG did not recruit him. He left Tussey on his own.
