St. Joseph’s is suspending its football team for the 2018 season. According to WJAC the school had fewer than 13 players committed to play.

There is a WestPAC team or three that probably should realistically assess its situation and act in the best interest of its players and opponents

If anyone was truly concerned with player safety, they would put a minimum roster size at about 25.

Since boys in 9th grade thru 12th are on varsity rosters nowadays, it's hard to believe you can't get 6 boys per class to fill out a high school roster.

Those teams should consider a co-op or starting an 8-man football conference.
