Somerset @ FH has got to be iffy at this point. It's gotta be one of the worst for drainage, even after measures taken to improve this maybe 10 years ago. Hope the new field next year takes care of it.

Memorial Field is State College is a sinkhole that floods easily. This weekend's conditions should be a good test of updated drainage.

That field (war -vets in hdon)over the years has been under water than the titanic. I drove by on game day a few years back and the river was up to the first row of bleachers on the Home side.... they played there on Monday...smh

the game that was canceled against Richland 2 years ago had absolutely nothing to do with field conditions and everything to do with the ankle injury cecere was nursing at the time,

Ferndale made the choice to play their JV game with Berlin yesterday, at Berlin instead of at Ferndale. Might have cost them some money on a bus, but probably saved money in the long run, because of saving on their field...especially since they have a home game this Saturday. I wonder if any other schools have decided to do this?

When a varsity game is played at one site, the following JV game is usually played at the other teams' field. FH was at Richland this past Friday, as was the JV game last night.

Are any other locals schools in the mix to add artificial turf in the future? Wasn't Forest Hills entertaining the idea?
