The conference has kind of been wide open thus far, but I think after 3 weeks of play we are getting a better idea now.

1)  Richland-(10-0)    team to beat IMO.  I think they can go unbeaten.
2)  Westmont-  (8-2)  got upset by Bedford, they are rolling now, interesting game this week with CR.
3)  CR  (8-2)  beat FH soundly untested otherwise.  Tough game for them this week with Westy.
4)  FH-  (7-3)  currently 1-2, but only have Westy left that can test them IMO.
5)  Bedford  (7-3)  caught Westy sleeping, but better than people predicted.
6)  BG  (6-4)  obviously I feel they are vulnerable.  I think they will lose to the top 4.
7)  PC  (4-6)  they are 3-0 but I think they have had easiest schedule so far.
8)  Somerset  (4-6)  just doesn't seem to have their normal stable of athletes.
9)  BM  (3-7)  They have some players but are beat up and need a direction.
10)  CH  (2-8)  Heights back to being heights
11)  CC  (1-9)  I expected them to be middle of the pack by this year...  maybe next year.
12)  J-town  (0-10)  I don't know how, but don't see them winning.  not sure what is going on with the Trojans...

Johnstown's season will depend on Barber's return, without him they have little offense

Westmont lost to Bedford, beat a bottom end Central Cambria team it seems like you're putting a lot of weight on them beating a bishop Guilfoyle team we're not sure how good they are. the game this week against Chestnut Ridge should give us a better feel for both of those teams

Hey,
I agree I am in on Westmont..  They have tons of guys back and I think they won 7 games last year?  Beat Bellwood..  Their style of play makes them really tough to play, they grind and grind...  CR could definitely beat them but you have to play a clean game they limit offense so much for their opponents.

Bedford showed how you beat Westy, control the ball yourself for most of a quarter. Bedford got lucky in getting the ball back with a Westy (rare) turnover, and then cashed it in for the winning points.

The limitations of Westmont offense though are that it does not do well when you get down.  In a close game or when they are up it is fine , but if CR or anyone else gets a lead, that's trouble.
Plus every coach I have talked to about the double wing stresses the importance of defensive players doing there specific job, you have to stay the course especially at the edge.  Shoemaker is a details guy and will be well prepared defensively.  Should be great game
Wesmont vs Penn Cambria should also be a big game as well
