ICC WEEK 4

I only see one toss up game this week in what should be a week full of blow outs.  Without further adieu:
Everett at Bellwood - Bellwood is for real again and the team to beat in the conference after 3 weeks.  They handled a talented JV squad last week.  Everett is playing better football than initially expected but this is too tall a task for the Warriors.  Bellwood 48 Everett 0
West Branch at Glendale - West Branch is playing pretty good football right now, Glendale was disappointing in losing at Everett last week.  Can the Vikings bounce back?  I say, NO !  West Branch 27 Glendale 7
Mount Union at Southern Huntingdon - Intra county rivalry game.  SHC might be the one team in the conference that can play with rn HuntingdonBellwood, we have until week 10 for that showdown.  If the Rockets don't overlook the Trojans with another intra county foe (JV) on deck they should be fine.  SHC 36 Mount Union 12
Claysburg at Mo Valley -  Claysburg seems to have come on and is moving in the right direction while Mo Valley appears to be spinning their wheels.  Even though they are home, I don't see these teams trends changing.  Claysburg 30 Mo Valley 13
Juniata Valley at Williamsburg -  JV are the leagues underachievers early in the season but Williamsburg is down in numbers and talent so this should be some much needed "get well" medicine for the Hornets.  JV 44 Williamsburg 6
Tussey Mt. at Northern Bedford - This is the best game this week in the ICC.  On paper it might seem like this is all TM but don't count out the Panthers.  This is a big rivalry in Bedford County and NBC has really had the Titans number over the past15+ years.  Throwing records out, I can honestly see this going either way.  I'll go with the TM Titan momentum over the youthful Panther squad in a thriller.  TM 28 NBC 27.

I too don't see a lot of close games this week. Claysburg and Mo Valley , maybe
. In the NBC -Tussey game, I'll pick NBC in a close one. Maybe it's time I start thinking Tussey is for real, maybe next week.

Tussey Mountain is the best team I've seen all year. Those kids are talented, playing together as a team, and hungry after being the whipping boys of the league for years.

Also of note, Mount Union/Southern Huntingdon will now be played in Mount Union on Friday.
