NC 21     MC 28 (Going out on a very skinny limb here... NC with too many penalties; MC with the huge upset.)
PM 48     SB 7 (Barring a last minute forfeit that is)
BL 12     PL 14 (I'm thinking pretty equal teams here)
UN 14     HC 28 (United's got some talent and big boys but not enough depth to match HC)
LV 58     WS 0 (West Shamokin is pretty good, but LV had 2 weeks to prepare and they're hungry)

West Shamokin (3-1) 6

A couple things.

Does anybody know what three options Saltsburg was given (by the Heritage conference)?  Are they planning on playing all games the remainder of the year?

On paper, the two games which may be closer are United - HC and Blairsville - PL.

I'm going with United.  United, HC, and PM are very close overall.  Since 2016 HC is 10-0 in games decided by 7 points or less.  I don't think it's luck, they know how to win games.  That being said - eventually it will catch up to them.

I think Blairsville is improving as the year goes on.  They are well coached and they are a younger team.

I just saw the stats for WS/LV. Did WS shut down the LV passing game a bit or was there a weather issue? It's nice to see LV was able to run the ball effectively, just wondered if there was any insight.

LV didn’t throw in the down pour during the 2nd half.  All of their 100+ passing yards came in the 1st half.  Plus they had a couple short fields due to turnovers.

I figured it was weather related, but I'm sure it only helps them to work on the run game. Thanks!

Saltsburg’s three options:  1.  Drop football.  2.  Co-op with Blairsville for football.  3.  Find a new league.
