NC State gets blown out by a legitimate team and Cincinnati loses to Temple, this is why rankings should be and are more than just an ordering by record where having no losses is valued more than who you've beaten.

Well when you lose youll find your way down. But I will always stand by teams with more losses should not automatically be put above those who have none.

I have seen a lot of games between top ranked teams where one gets smacked and no one calls the other one bad.

I agree that it shouldn't be automatic, but a team should not be rewarded for an easy schedule. I like seeing tough out of conference schedules but if being undefeated is the goal then teams don't have a reason to schedule heavy. I'm not saying UCF is or was not good last year, but you cannot deny that their schedule was easier than any Big 10 or SEC schedule.

And Ohio State just got blown out by a team who lost to Eastern Michigan. I guess that means everyone who Ohio State played before was illegitimate!!!

I would agree the big 10 and SEC are tougher conferences than the AAC but rarely do we see teams go undefeated in any conference that they play in.

The AP writers are in love with Urban Liar, and Ohio State.
This loss will drop them from #2, to like....#6. And, before the regular season ends,...they'll be back in the top 4. It's a joke.

Well PSU has been underwhelming so this is probably the best team OSU has seen so far.

OSU was NOT the 2nd best team in the nation before tonight.
They should be out of the top 10 after almost losing to an "underwhelming" PSU, and getting the snot knocked out of them by Purdue.

I did not realize how one dimensional OSU was until they ran into the #TylerStrong Boilermakers
