Successful local quarterbacks at the next level

Post by youngbuck »

While the local area does send a notable amount of players to college, has there been much success in quarterbacks on the next level.

Austin Montgomery (Bedford) had a great year last year at Juniata. Not sure if he had an injury this year, only played 4 games.

I talked to his younger brother.  He dislocated his elbow

Ranger Justin Myers re-wrote all the passing records @ Geneva College in the late 90's before a several year stretch as a Johnstown arena football QB, then moved to FH assistant coach, and maybe after next week.....get to try on a really big pair of shoes.
Also former Rangers Brandon Bailey @ UConn., and Dave Poldiak @ James Madison.

Former Pitt QB Tom Yewcic from Conemaugh.  Also the fella from Huntingdon who became Michigan's QB a few years ago- his name escapes me.  Gotta be some more- help us out folks.

Randy Mccavish from CC had a nice career at Slippery Rock.
Nate Crookshank had an outstanding career at Slippery Rock, still holds some records.

Did Brandon play at Uconn?  Thought that he saw very little playing time.
