United Forfeits to HC

Just heard that United forfeited their Homecoming game this week with Homer-Center.

Homer Center should travel to Meyersdale tomorrow night.

Is there anything PIAA can do or will do when a school forfeits more than once in a season?

Just crazy this has happened to some schools. Really sad. Hopefully for them they can get it turned around soon numbers wise.

Yea meyersdale had conemaugh valley forfeit. It's a shame it was so late. After reading Donaldons quote about his team being best in the league I would've loved to see what he would've did. After the egg west pac laid in the crossover last year (0-10) i bet he never would've taken that game. After Windber lays one on him next week he'll learn not to say stuff like that. From afar I thought he was a smart young coach but after reading that I'm not so sure.

Thanks Jimjohn. I would have liked to see that too.
Maybe it will happen in the crossover games this year. I'm assuming they are happening again.

I was just asking a question. At the end of the day it isn’t far to the opponents.

If the superintendents/principals/ADs won’t shut these two teams down for the rest of the season then the PIAA should step in and do so.
I know CV has more kids on its junior high team than it has on its high school team. If shutting down this season means no team next season I can see why it will give it the old college try and attempt to field a team week to week. However, CV is 0-4 to opponents who are a combined 5-11 to this point and the schedule turns brutal.
