there's always a chance that "this will be the year." i realize that the pirates have been waiting a long time for that year and it hasn't come, but they can't stink forever. Take a look at the Penguins...they spent the last few years flirting with the worst team in the league and last year they exploded into a great team... oh wait, NHL has a salary cap... pirates are screwed
