I found out that Walker did have surgery and it was on his foot or ankle.

I heard it was a complicated surgery to repair a problem with his foot. From what I heard he will start the season but not be 100%.

Regarding another subject, Lupek apparently is staying at CV and Loya apparently is staying at NS. I recall a great deal of posts regaring the retiring of one and the firing of another.

Shade and Berlin will provide for a couple of great games. Right now I would give Shade edge.

Shade should be very strong this year. Gibbons is going to have a great year and they have a pretty good senior cast this year with Hart, Knapp, and Kephart. Fyock will have a good year also. This team will be tough to beat. Berlin lost some seniors and need players to step up as starters. Will should have a strong senior season and will lead this team. But these two teams are the top two in the south.

Does anybody have any info on what schools are trying to get Gibbons? D1? D2? D3? If so what schools?

They need to consolidate the westpac into two schools and then they might have two competitive teams.

As I recall, in 2009, 3 teams out of district 5 made the second round of the state play-offs. In 2010, 1 team out of Distict 5 went to the second round of the state playoffs. I look for some teams out of District 5 to make some noise come March. Psycho, even Norman Bates knows to do them one at a time not in mass. Don't be so quick to write off the whole league. There are some very good players in District 5 and 6 going to the next level.

NS will be tough this year but they can be beat. Is there any good Freshman this year who will make an impact on their varsity team? Any Freshman that will catch peoples eye?
