SAY WHAT?

Post by BigMan82 »

This is a great quote from Alley Williams of BG. I think she's a great player too......but I'm glad she got to experience public shool for one day.

"They have a wider area to select from, and we just have Blair County"

Something like that, just like Chartiers Valley and South Fayette did.

ustafguy, say oww, and all you piss ant school people,

I will be at the Sr Showcase at UPJ this weekend. I ordered a couple gross of trophies and will be handing them out to any one who feels bad about themselves for missing the state playoffs -- kids and parents and heck even grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Why am I doing this? Because you "deserve" it -- you "deserve" a trophy because your kid is at a school that goes through the motions and provides a nice social program for uncommitted kids and families, (nice, but not "too" competitive because someone may have to lose OR your kid will get too good and others will feel bad and not talk to you) teaching your kids how to do the least but expect the most while bludgeoning your coach and the schools that actully achieve -- if your kid doesn't get first place. YOU DESERVE IT.

And to my friend: keep up the good work. As far as most of the people on this board are concerned you might as well be from Mars. They have no concept of what you are talking about -- competition and how to be competitive. They think everyone "deserves" success.

Psycho:

What kind of trophy will I get if I show up? You're right, everyone that comments on this board have now clue what competition is.......they do know the rules though.

Don't be so quick to judge those who comment on this board...........they may know a little more about competition than even you.

Actually a few of us do have a clue. We get to coach the kids who walk in the door everyday and who are committed to a program. We also know that when a great group of kids graduate from our public school, another group like that will never walk in the door again. If I was at a private school, BG, York Catholic, (insert other private school name here) we will just go out and get them. It happens everyday. PIAA just turns their head.
