Gallagher plays for Pgh Elite. Nice team with WPIAL players as well.

Let's see 5 kids from Johnstown play AAU, 4 of them play with 2 teams. I wonder why they won the LHAC and D6 last year. It's not a coincidence that Jtown ran away with the LHAC last year. Come on programs get your kids involved with out of school basketball activities like Johnstown does.

They play AAU becaue they are good. Being good is why they ran through the LHAC. If other teams put their bad players on an AAU team, they still won't win.

This team didn't look very impressive to me and from what I seen it looked like Gallaher was struggling

Game I watched was at North Allegheny HS, TD sports Tourney. The team scored well over 100 points and Gallaher played well on both sides of the floor. Can't comment on the games I do not watched only the ones I watch. Again it's a nice team. Never used the word impressive.

AAU

AAU will teach kids how to play DEFENSE . . . and defense wins games.

Any area high school could greatly increase the quality of their basketball program if they sent their kids to play AAU.

Basketball in D-6 is pretty much a big joke, especially girls' basketball. The best players join AAU because they know the mportance of keeping up their skills over the summer.

Just sayin . . .

Girls Basketball in this area a joke?
Are you kidding me? haha wow. Dude there was an all D6 Final in States. Bishop Guilfoyle the past 4 seasons, McCort has had some pretty good teams that made it pretty far, Northern Cambria made it to states twice, so did Westmont a couple years back, and Conemaugh Valley made it once.

Sam Pollino and Kelly Britcher are at Duquesne.
Alli Williams is going to Saint Francis
Sarah Pastorek was PSAC freshmen of the year at IUP.

D6 Girls Basketball is leaps and bounds better then boys.

WHY? There are actually established AAU programs for girls in this area. Hoopsters and PA Blu Thunder
