I think Kenny Gibbons, Tyler Smith and Jake Fleegle are the top 3 to choose from but i think that Gibbons deserves it. All three players are very good ball players.

I say the senior Tyler Smith will win it followed by Gibbons, Fleegle, and then Alec Will. Smith came back as the top player returning in the county and did nothing bad to make him drop off from the top spot! He moved underneathe on defense to help his team out instead of being out front where his talent belongs. He drew the top player from each team week in and out and still was up in the top 3 in scoring opening up for a great year from gibbons who stepped up this year and will be the front runner next year! Smith was stonger, quicker and led in 3's and was an outstanding ballhandler! He put up better stats than last years m.v.p did and received m.v.p. in the boswell tourney with all the top kids in the running for m.v.p. He also received m.v.p in the all star game last week scoring a record 25 points and 5 threes in that game against top talent from the bedford sideling league! Like I said this was 2 great years for Smith and he improved tremendously from his great junior year! If Smith doesn't get it, it will be Gibbons and back to back years a shade player received this award! Smith was like singler from duke in one playoff game where he didn't make a bucket, but both bounced back and led there team in scoring in the other playoff game. When you draw the attention from the coach and get the teams best player on you, it is bound to happen in a game or two! Look what singler did shutting down butler last night! It happens!

Congrats to Tyler Smith for being named Outstanding Senior. In Somerset County they do not name an MVP.

That's funny because I was at the banquet and they called him the mvp.

Have you read the plaque? Read all the articles in the papers about the banquet? They all state Outstanding Senior. That by no means takes away from Smith. Just stating a fact that no underclassman could have won the award.
