There's about 600 high school basketball teams that have no chance to win a state championship. Have they all wasted their time?

I do not agree. The Juniata Valley girls are very likely to bring home the gold this year.

Yeah when you have like 3 kids out of 12 who actually live in JV school district for 10 years or more. Not an orthodontist that buys a house transplants half NB girls team to make a dynasty out of a group of AAU girls that play all summer together. * asterick.

Gotta agree here, this is why the public vs private debate will continue well past any approval of a separate playoff system. There always will be asterisk teams such as this one
