I like the tournament format better than a shootout, but it's still good to have an event like this back and I hope we can get some support. I should be home for the holidays and hope to get to at least one day's worth of games.

Glad they went with 8 though.  Let everyone get a shot to play there.  It is kind of cool, it's different than playing in a gym. It's a unique experience. The floor is really nice too, think it was a floor from an old NBA arena and it has a lot of bounce to it.  They recently upgraded the scoreboard, so that should help the fan experience.  My junior year we played the LHAC title and the D6 title there.

Lot of good basketball history in that building. Johnstown pegs itself as "Hockeyville" but the War Memorial has a tremendous history for basketball.  Excited it is being used.

I remember as a kid going to the war memorial and Dwight Collins ripped it up I believe from beaver falls and a we in football at Pitt. That little Johnstown point guard price played in it!

Any comparison with the tournaments of the past are in name only.  $10 to get in, even for 1 game.  And security like the County Courthouse.  Life as we now know it.
