I know the WestPAC always gets a hard time, but this league looks very good this year.  Shade just dismantled the best team from the Heritage and crushed a middle-of-the-pack LHAC team, but is only 1-2 in the WestPAC following a loss to Conemaugh Township tonight.

Between Shade, Shanksville, and now Conemaugh Township and North Star - that's a very competitive league. Heck Berlin is still really good after losing a lot.

The WestPAC is better than the LHAC this year.

Shade loses to NS, CT, beats BMCHS & Liggy, NS loses to Berlin, FH loses to Somerset. I'd have to agree, prophet.
It ain't over until it's over.

All depends what you mean by better. I get there is a lot of LHAC homers on here but the top of the LHAC is loaded this year.  Shade might be the best team in the area I won’t argue that but Richland might finish 4th in the LHAC. Johnstown BG and BC are all very good.  Count Richland in there and they would win D6 A through AAAA this year.  Doesn’t mean it will happen but the LHAC still has a ton of depth which is usually why people think it is a better conference I believe.

Johnstown is very good, and so is Bishop Guilfoyle.  Bishop Carroll and Richland will eventually get there after a slow start by each. But there are around six or seven teams towards the bottom of the league that appear very down.

Westmont girls with the 2 point win over McCort at McCort, 63-61. This is a huge win for Westmont. They haven't beaten them in 4 years!

Like they say....on any given night! Shade did dismantle Ligonier. However, they lost to North Star who lost to Berlin. Ligonier had no trouble with Berlin.

BC has had slow start due to coaching is what I’m guessing. I was at the battle of bishops Monday night to watch 2 very good teams and it was obvious that BC was totally out coached. Ruggery is out with injury for BG and McDannel for BC kept getting taken out. With the constant substitution for BC they couldn’t get in a groove. Not sure what all is going on up in Ebensburg.
