If Richland and FH finish with the same conference record, what is the tie breaker? Overall record, head to head, or due to playing some teams 2 times vs 1 time - record vs common opponent? I've hear all three mentioned.

Re: LHAC update 2-5-18
No idea. First time the league has 13 teams and a playoff. So I don’t know the protocol.
Re: LHAC update 2-5-18
After blowing a 25-9 1st period lead and eventually losing to Richland, Richland has the head to head covered. On the other hand, Richland lost twice to the Trojan-men, while FH beat them handily @ JHS. If FH doesn't beat BGU this Fri. in Sidman, it really doesn't matter since the Rangers dropped a couple games they should have won.
It ain't over until it's over.

Tiebreaker:
h) Tie Breaker for playoff places
1. Head to head.
2. Record vs. 1st place team, then 2nd place team, then third place team, etc.
(2-0 is better than 1-0 and 0-1 is better than 0-2)
Note: In the case of a multi-team tie, when #2 is used as the tie breaker, #1 should be evaluated after the team(s) is(are) eliminated. Remaining teams revert to #1 and continue the process.
3. If there is still a tie, the most recent team that played in the LHAC Championship shall be eliminated. (Rose Bowl Rule) (3/4/09)
If neither team(s) has ever competed in the LHAC Championship, the tie shall be broken via a coin flip. (3/4/09)

Re: LHAC update 2-5-18
Crazy to think that a potential conference champion could be decided by a coin flip. I mean really? If the teams split a 2 game series they couldn’t at least do margin of victories or something else quantitative as a tie breaker?Crimson's Ghost wrote:Tiebreaker:

Re: LHAC update 2-5-18
Seems like it would be pretty rare for it to get past the second tiebreaker.

Bishop Guilfoyle 74, Cambria Heights 36
Re: LHAC update 2-5-18
I see Carson Errter is back playing w/ his mates @ BC. Makes them the team to beat, I think. On a side note, the state rankings from Sunbury published in the local paper shows Everett, D5, ranked with a record of 15-2. The team no one ever hears about? Who knows anything about them on the west side of the mountain?
