Re: Heritage Championship
In the boys game Ligonier beat West Shamokin 66-42. As big of a fan of LV as I am, I must say I am embarrassed at times to watch this basketball team play. This team is very undisciplined, and very arrogant. The Marinchak boy, who is a good player, got ejected in the 4th quarter and as he was walking off the court was trying to “pump up” the crowd as he pointed to the scoreboard as he walked past the West Shamokin student section. As he got back to the tunnel, it also appeared that he flipped off the student section. What an absolute embarrassment to the school, program and himself. Tutino was in the officials face multiple times after foul calls. How he did not get T’d up is beyond me. How does a coach allow this to happen? To top it all off, they allowed Marinchak to come back after the game to get in the team picture. After the way he acted, I would not have allowed him to come back out on the court for a picture. This is a very good team, do not get me wrong, but it is hard to root for these guys sometimes when they act this way.

Probably a bit of both. We live in a super toxic society now when you look at things. Many people have the my way or the highway set of idealsBaller21 wrote:Are You say that it is Ligonier culture or culture in general?konjo78 wrote:That has been the culture of male athletics for some time now. I only stayed until halftime of the boys game. I agree with the arrogance. I think it also comes from the coaches. It wasn't announced, but I believe the coach got a bench warning in the first half.JTMcMahonLV wrote:In the boys game Ligonier beat West Shamokin 66-42.
