District 5 Class AAA and AAAA scenarios
Class AAA
2. Chestnut Ridge (5-16) at 1. Everett (19-2), Thursday 7:00 p.m.
The winner of that game will play the winner of Brookville and Moniteau at UPJ on Thursday Feb 28.
The winner of this four team sub-region gets a bid to the state tournament and will play District 7's sixth-place team.
Class AAAA
2. Somerset (6-16) at 1. Bedford (10-12), Thursday 7 p.m.
The winner of this game will play either Perry or Westinghouse from the City League on Thursday Feb 28 at UPJ.
The winner of this four-team sub-region gets a bid to the state tournament and will play District 10's second-place team.

Other than Everett, this is tough to look at.the only winning record.

Aren't there some districts out there that require teams to be above .500 for tournament/playoff play? 6 classifications has really worked out for some schools, regardless, it is the system in place. I don't have a better answer to this issue.
