How many all stars games are played in our area? When are they played?
Where are the kids chosen from? When does the team get selected?

The Tribune Democrat has one after the season usually at UPJ. It’s made up of teams in the Trib’s Coverage area which is basically the entire WestPAC and LHAC minus Bishop Guilfoyle, plus Ligonier, United, Northern Cambria, and Cambria County Christian.

No, I think the Big John Reilly is handled by the Altoona Mirror and it has been played at Penn State-Altoona recently.

Altoona Mirror Classic is March 29th and features a team of Blair County kids vs a group from Central PA. Altoona Mirror selects the teams I believe.

District 5 has an All-Star game. I believe it’s Bedford and Fulton Countries vs. Somerset County. I know coaches select those teams.
