Blairsville Bellwood girls last year played in semis.

Thats awesome. Says a lot for our area and the growth we have seen as of late. I think the year that the Conemaugh Valley girls went, they went in the Eastern bracket and was a game away from playing another d6 school in the finals.

McCort has played in the Western final against North Star and Northwrn Cambria before.

Bellwood and Everett in the state title is still a possibility.

There’s been a lot of that over the past decade on the girls side.
