Fast-Pitch, Sports Hall of Fame, and Hoops Classic
The Schellsburg Fastpitch Softball League will have a men's May Sunday League that will go on from May 7, 14, and 21.
The pitchers must not have been a pitcher for more than three years and all batters will start with a 0-1 count. Teams cannot bat around until their finals at-bat.
Men's fast-pitch is dying in this country and we are trying to get some younger players or players who have always wanted to try to play, but were afraid to try it.
There are some other minor rules, but anyone can enter a team. The cost is $25 (to pay for the softballs). We are hoping to get some players interested in playing in the regular league, which will start in June.

Also, the Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame is looking for information about "Boots" Clark, the only athlete from Bedford County to win two PIAA gold medals in a sport in the same year. He was the state champion in the 100 and 200 back in 1930.
We are having some trouble finding out that information, please respond to this post or e-mail me at [email protected]
