BETTER LATE THAN ...:@ Easton's swimming team is taking late practices to an extreme.
A boiler that heated Easton's pool broke a month ago and has yet to be repaired. The Red Rovers swimmers have been practicing at Lafayette College or the Easton YMCA between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. But when commitments at both sites tied up those time slots, Easton swimmers spent a week practicing at Lafayette beginning at 10 p.m.
"It's hard enough with swimming right after school," Easton co-captain Seth Phillips said. "I go to bed to bed around midnight. It's tough to adjust, and you have to have that drive."
