How do you think Ridge will do in the upcoming Dist. 5/6 Class AA playoffs against the likes of Somerset, Penn Cambria and the Mountain League teams?

The D6 AA playoffs is loaded. I believe there is 7 teams that lagitamatly could win the title. CR can compete with all of those teams. PO, Huntingdon, Belfonte, PC, Somerset, BEA, and CR are the 7. Starting with the quarterfinals on it will be brutal to make it through. Who ever does win it will definatly be battle tested and ready for states. Don't forget CR lost in the semi's last year to PO who won the title last year and CR has their whole team back. PO and PC i believe has about their whole teams back from last year also. I have not seen Somerset, Huntingdon, or Belfonte play this year but no doubt have very good teams. Should make for exciting high quality volleyball do be seen by all so don't miss it.

But, can Philipsburg return to the form they were last year. I know they have everyone back, including Taylor Harpster, but they also have a limited roster. Huntingdon, Bellefonte and BEA have played them tough through the regular season. Could this be Somerset's year. They have already knocked off an unbeaten Penn Cambria in three games just this past Tuesday and Somerset did take Philipsburg to five games a year ago in the Dist. 6-AA championship before losing.I don't think Bellefonte and BEA have enough fire power to get through districts, but Huntingdon is playing much better since mid-season and being bracketed on the opposite side of the 6-AA field from PO, it could be another Huntingdon/PO rematch in the 6-AA championship.
